Have you ever wonder what happen to your favorite country music artist of yesteryears ? Join the ITCM Fan Club and find out what has happened to them, what they are doing, and where they are playing, etc. The International Traditional Country Music Fan Club is a non-profit organization that preserves and promotes our American heritage, traditional country, bluegrass and gospel music. The organization brings together artists and fans through newsletters, gatherings and activities such as the Annual FanFest. The Club promotes the music as performed not only by the legends, but also by the stars of today and tomorrow. The object is to keep traditional country music alive and well, and the best way to accomplish this is to join together, so our efforts will be as strong as possible. The Club was organized by Beecher O'Quinn Jr. and Jody King in 1996. Mr. O'Quinn along with Mary Wallace, also organized the Hank Williams Sr. International Fan Club and served as the first President from 1992 until 1996. Mr. O'Quinn lobbied U.S. Congress and Senate and the U.S. Postal Service to get Hank Williams Sr. picture on the U.S. Commemorative postage stamp. On June 9th, 1993 this stamp was dedicated at FanFair in Nashville, Tennessee. Hank Williams Jr. alone with Postmaster General Marvin Reunion attended the dedication. Mr. O'Quinn is a dedicated country music fan and enjoys talking to fans.
